Herberts has been acquired by DuPont in 1999, making the company a part of DuPont Performance Coatings. Now it presents itself as an integrated business unit of that company and that is now also reflected by the website: www.permatex.de became protectivecoatings.dupont.com.

Journal of Advanced Concrete Technology
The first issue of the Journal has been published in April and full text pdf files can be downloaded for free. Main subject is self-compacting concrete: Mix design, test methods, superplasticizers and stabilizers. Further subjects are the corrosion resistance of cementitious systems, the bonding of bars in concrete, and mechanical properties of Alkali-Silica Reaction affected concrete.
